Amy Tryphena is a Cornish writer living in West Cornwall with her four legged support network – Robert the cat & Dazzel the pony.

She has suffered with bipolar disorder her whole adult life and finally received a diagnosis at age 32. She has spent the last 8 years learning learning how to manage her illness, find, and maintain stability.
She is currently studying for a BA in creative writing with Falmouth University and she is also a keen writer of short fiction – with a focus on Cornish history and folklore inspired tales.
When she’s not reading and writing she can be found outdoors, usually in the garden or exploring the Cornish countryside with her pony.
